Minnesota’s juvenile justice system holds many mentally ill youth in a failing system. Current methods for violent youth with mental health issues often make things worse: they’re often released without proper care and reoffend.

I worked with the KARE 11 Investigates team on a deep look into problems facing victims of juvenile violence and children denied chances for rehabilitation.
