California Power Struggle
California has a long history in energy innovation. Despite that legacy, KXTV brings to light that their power grid is now confronted with fresh challenges from impacts of climate change and a spike in growing demand.
The package’s visual style that I developed draws on rusted metals and sharp yellow electrical accents to underscore themes of system wear and overuse.
